How to share files between two or more computers.

About 18 months ago, I was asked what is the best way to share files between two or more computers. At the time I was using USB memory sticks and was getting frustrated as I found it difficult to keep track of my documents, so I carried out some research for software that both myself and my customers could use. That is when I came across Dropbox.

Dropbox is a cloud based service that allows you to store and share files and folders with other computers that are linked to your account. It is extremely easy to use. Simply signup for the service (you get 2GB for free but you can purchase more space if required), download and install the client, and then copy the files you need to share into the Dropbox folder on your computer. On your other computers, just simply download and install the client, and any files stored in your Dropbox folder will automatically sync to your computer.
