Windows 7 is an upcoming version of the Microsoft Windows operating system. Microsoft plan to release Windows 7 to PC manufactures in July 2009 and general retail availability sometime in October 2009.
Windows 7 includes a number of new features and improvements such as, improved touch and handwriting recognition, improved performance in multi-core processors, improved boot performance, visual improvements and kernal improvements.
Over the next coming weeks, we will take a look into Windows 7 and the features on offer.
18/12/2008: Serioues security flaw found in Internet Explorer
A recent security flaw has been discovered in Microsoft's Internet Explorer. The security flaw could allow hackers to remotely control your computer and also steal sensitive information such as passwords. Microsoft say that Internet Explorer versions 5.01, 6, 7, and 8 are open to attack.
